Jeff Schwaia Writes:

There is only one official Winkler dealer in the USA. Vanagon Projekt over in Livermore. Funny thing is that he mostly imports Winkler's Audi stuff.

I had an in-depth conversion with Herr Winkler last time I was in Germany about importing his T3 items into the USA. He informed me that he was unable to sell to anyone in the USA due to his agreement with the Vanagon Projekt. Apparently, the guy at Vanagon Projekt is a long time friend and they've been doing business for over 20 years.

I did figure out a way to order Winkler items without compromising his exclusive deal but have yet to place any significant orders.

I have tried to contact this guy on the telephone repeatedly to order a kit to install an Audi 5 into a vanagon. All you ever get is a machine, and he never calls you back. Is he really in business?

Jeff I want to order this from you. Please contact me.
