Hi Joel,

UVIC.CA is the University of Victoria.

It's definitely Canadian, but the climate on Vancouver Island is rainforest, (non-tropical) not northern tundra. The only frostbite seen on Vancouver island is when someone leaves the freezer door open too long packing the ice for their cooler full of Kokanee.
