Hi Tolga,

My SA headlamps are wired up this way: my outers are both high and low beam. The inners are high beam only. When I hit my brights, all four lamps are lit up and I'm kicking out about 400 watts (my outers are Hella 65/100 and I 'think' the inners are 100, but I'm not certain - but altogether they are VERY bright). That sure helps a lot when driving in the lonesome back roads of New Mexico where mule deer love to cross the road in large numbers. I can see them way down the road.

I also recommend that you install relays. I installed a relay for each headlight unit and wired the whole thing directly to my battery. I installed separate fuses for the high and low beam systems.

One responder raised an interesting point about how I wish to wire the two sets of lights in the SA Grille. ie

-outers low beams & inners high

or

-outers both low and high and inners running lights

How are stock SA's set up? How do 85's and later (4 square lights) work? I have an 84 with only 2 (high and low) headlights so I don't really know how the 4 light setups normally operate?

Thanks Again, Tolga
