The Bosch conversion is currently:

W145T1 = W8AC = 7502 W145T30 = W8CC = 7504 W175T1 = W7AC = 7596 W175T30 = W7CC = 7598

W7CC0 (that's right - zero) does not currently have a "7000" product number and is still currently purchased from Bosch and still sold as W7CC0 (Trivia note: Bosch's Long # is 0241 235 098, VW # N01781170 or 101 000 012 AA).

Wasserboxers, according to VW's Parts Fiche were equipped as follows:

DH 1.9 83.5-85 = W7DTC (VW 191 905 450 A) as a "Long Life" Spark Plug but W7CC was the accepted VW replacement (WR7DTC is the "noise resistor" style version). Side Note: These are the Tri-Electrode Plugs that are mentioned here on the List from time to time. Some people have reported that the engine runs smoother and with a teeny bit more power with these plugs. However, some reported the down side is that emissions testing was more difficult to pass with these plugs. Most reported that when W7CC plugs were substituted, passing emissions was easier - YMMV

MV 2.1 86-91 = W7CC0, but W7CC was the accepted VW replacement.

In past and current Bosch publications for the aftermarket, they have listed only the W7CC (7598) as the replacement spark plug for the Wasserboxer 83.5-91, some with a footnote stating that it replaced W77C0.

I have run WR7DTC before in my Westy, but noticed no real difference, so I have run the W7CC for most of the time I've had the vehicle with no problems, besides, they're less expensive than the Tri-Electrode style. Again YMMV

All above are Copper, not Platinum.
