I always find some rust in the bottom of the body panel behind the panels
next to the rear seat.  Crud accumulates here and will cause rust.  On west
coast vans, this is often the only place I find any rust.

I'll add to your list.  The horizontal 'shelves' in behind the tail lights.
Under the rear seat
(from water from the reservoir leaking/spilling)  Inside the front,
fresh-air air-scoop.  Under
ALL of the window rubber seals.  Top of your transmission (I've seen them
eaten right through the
tranny housing)

If you all live anywhere close to Canada, try www.krown.com .  I do it every
year and the rust on
my van has been STOPPED (not repaired, but stopped). (if you have a westy,
be careful of the
insulation when taking your van to Krown) M
