Jim Davis who organized the Syncro Safari '04, which met at Molas Lake just above Silverton, Co awhile back, has some very beefy, sturdy flat steel bumpers on both ends of his. Totally fabricated by a friend of his if I remember right. Looked pretty cool, was held onto the frame by about 8 bolts underneath, acted as a sort of skid for his Syncro escapades, had aux lights on it, and was probably good winch-mounting material. All flat angles, no rounded surfaces and alot of welding. Diamond plate on the top if I remember correctly, and black powder coat.
