Hey Jason,

Curing a 2000 rpm idle should be straightforward.

You may have a problem with your idle computer. Do you have the Bentley manual? Recommend you get it and run through the troubleshooting steps there.

If you want to check to see if it's your idle computer, warm the engine, turn it off, remove the right rear taillight (4 screws from the exterior) reach in and you'll see a black box about 4" X 3" X 2". With the engine off, pull this box (the idle computer) out (upward). Start the engine. If the idle drops to ~800-1000, the computer is your problem. If it doesn't, you have something else going wrong. You could try twiddling the screw on the throttle body, but be sure to slowly tighten it (CW) all the way first and count the number of turns so you can put it back where it was when you're through. Anyway, with the idle computer out and the engine revving at 2000 rpm, turn the screw CW and see if the idle drops...

Suggest you refer to Bentley for more detailed info.
