Hi Justin,

Mid-80's Ford Bronco and similar models used the identical pump. Your local wrecker will probably sell the ford part for a whole lot less coin than the VW part.

As long as the voltage, flow rate, pressure and fuel line fittings are the same you can use pretty much any pump you want; it'll just be a matter of wiring it in and bolting it to the frame.
