Well, I could use the Screensaver.

I for one, am still using Windoz 98SE on my P4 and regular 98 on the P2 laptop because I still use DOS (ugh!) for a couple of programs requiring files & buffers statements along with an obsolete (but a bit sophisticated) memory statement in the config.sys. They lock up and cannot be accessed when in XP (after 3 days of trying to modify for DOS useage in XP, I gave up). These programs, one of them being a high-end warehouse-level Inventory/Accounting Package I used for over 10 years with my now inactive business is essentially used for my cross-referencing database I use daily. It's so old (circa 1989 thru 1993, written in COBOL, compiled for DOS) that it can't be translated into something a bit more modern, such as Access or Excel (I tried - big frown) and the company that originally wrote it got swallowed up by Microsoft 6 years ago and died an unmerciful death. As so-called obsolete as the programs are, they work beautifully for what I need them for. Someday I'll find something to translate and upgrade.

I may get around to just building another box to use XP to use everything but those programs and retire my current box to the Win98 world for just those programs.
