That was a cart that hit it not a car, and it also has a brand new Optima yellow top battery installed. And a nice JVC stereo with infinity speakers. And both trays that go behind the jump seats, and the full curtain kit. I might be a bit high but it is an exceptional van. Here are the specs. 1987 Wolfsburg with the weekender package. Rust free, although there was some body work on the drivers side in the middle of the panel where it was hit by a car, and there is EXTREMELY minor bubbling in one small spot near a rear side window, and near a vertical seam. The interior is very clean. The van has 211K on it and I have every receipt since new, or very close to there, it has always been dealer maintained. Leaks no coolant, has always had 'blue' VW coolant. Transmission was overhauled, 12K miles ago. Engine is very strong and smooth, uses no oil. Air Conditioner is Ice Cold with a brand new compressor. Previous owner told me the VW dealer put a factory rebuilt engine in 65K ago, by the way it runs I believe it, but the receipt seems to be missing from the big folder. I also just put brand new 8 ply tires with a load rating of 2050lbs each. I would like to sell for what I paid for it $2500.00. I will send pictures upon request.
