The 83 diesel I bought had an aftermarket VDO oil pressure unit installed and it started leaking quite a bit. I decided to take it off and as I began to loosen the bronze ³t² that comes out of the engine (the VDO oil sensor screws into the end and the stock sensor screws into it at a right angle), the brass T broke right off, leaving a small piece of it in the engine (screwed into place). It seems like it is a small piece, and not even a complete circle at that, but Iım afraid of messing up the threading in the engine if I start digging around in there. Any thoughts? Dave |
