Hi all, Thanks to everyone who sent suggestions on what might be wrong with Matilda. After another day of diagnostics and a little bit of repair and new parts, she seems to be all better. It seems to have been a combination of problems. I had a bad heat sensor and a bad thermostat, both of which Rocky found and replaced yesterday. They seem to have caused the new O2 sensor to get destroyed. So now I have a new-to-me O2 sensor, and she's running fine. No fuel pump/filter/hose problems at all. Even Rocky, who won't admit that any after-market part could work, had to admit that my fuel pump was just fine once the rest of it was fixed. No spark plug or distributor cap problems either. It's nice to be back at my favorite campground in Rapid City, SD - Lazy J, up on top of Mt. Rushmore Ave, sweeping vista of the whole city which looks nice from this distance, free wifi, laundry facilities, and run by super nice people whose only way to get rid of their excess homegrown tomatoes is to invite all their campers to take them. Yumm. And all this for only $10 a night with electric hookup (off season rate, I'll admit). So if you're in Rapid City and not camping with Rocky (a.k.a. Import Service, 3280 W. Chicago Street), do come here!
