Hi all-
Have any of you had your cable fall off the starter? I've got a '91
vanagon GL & it has been running fine. We came out of dinner tonight
and it wouldn't turn over. Lights came on, radio, my lift worked etc.
So obviously it wasn't the battery or the alternator. Went poking
around and whacked the starter a couple of times figuring it was about
done for and hoped to at least get us home since it was 9pm on a
Friday. Nothing. We were about to give up when we noticed that the
cable for the starter was lose. Reattached it and as one would expect,
it started right up.

If it came loose is there anything I should worry about, follow up on,
check out? It seems like it is attached fine now.
