hello all,


I have a 1989 Vanagon Westfalia that the sliding door has fallen off of it's
track. The bottom track has had a piece of metal come off which now allows
the door to come away from the vehicle and fall to the ground, which then
has bent the sliding mechanism as well as dented the cover plate to the door
slide.


1)does anyone know how i can get the bottom track fixed? Do I have a new
metal piece welded or can the track get replaced.


2)does anyone have a sliding door cover plate, (this might not be what it is
called) it is the 3-4 foot piece of metal that covers the sliding door arm.
