Well, easier said than done as cleaning the contacts entail disassembly of the whole dash to get at the blower. If you went that far I would replace the blower with a new one. I recently did that and at the same time did clean and/or replace a lot of the spade connectors so hopefully it'll keep things going a few years without problems. We'll see.
