I also had a problem with the electrical connection on top of the coolant tank coming loose, which resulted in full-right swing of the temp needle and blinking coolant light. I ended up wrapping the connector on the top with black electrical tape and I haven't had that problem since. I've also had problems with low coolant fluid level due to leaks which resulted in the same set of swinging needles and flashing lights.

I had similar power-loss problems due to low fuel pressure resulting from a hidden leak in my fuel delivery system. The one piece I had problems with a few times is that small hose that is on the other side of the firewall from the engine bay. This is the delivery side, not the return side. I also had the small piece of line leak on the fuel rail.

I'm not reading all the messages on the list, but hasn't Joy had a problem with the fuel delivery system for the last month? Did she ever verify the fuel pressure with a gauge?
