Subject: Shore power plug shore power 110vt power
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I am installing a 110vt shore power plug on the westy conversion and I am wondering where to put it on the van.

I have considered since its a syncro to install it where the fuel filler is on the 2wd because there is a round flat section of metal there and the plug I am using from West Marine is a round plug.

http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&classNum=311&subdeptNum=310&storeNum=9&productId=14773

I am wondering if "shore power" in campgrounds is normally located on one side or the other with respect to drivers / pass sides

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Doug
