You could try the electric faucet from Shurflo. Have one since two years and very satisfied.

You will have to make an adaptor plate (or find one), I made it in plexiglass and it hold well. Also, you will have to find an automatic stop valve if you want to keep the city water circuit available (I saw recently a german Vanagon Westy, those have only the tank circuit). If you want to keep the city water you will also have to put a switch on the pump, since the switch of the Shurflo is the valve also (the pump should not work in that mode).

The faucet itself is a folding one, so it fit under the cover and have an aerator, no more spill water. A little drawback, since the faucet is easier to use, you will empty the tank faster.
