Actually the two that can be compared side by side are the BA-6 and the DA-6. there are quite a few differences in the controls. The diesel has a 2 stage firing rate, actually 2 fuel pumps. There is also something to increase or decrease the amount of intake air .The housings and actually the combustion air blower APPEAR to be the same. there's a lot about the diesel one I don't understand. Mine presently does not work. It lights off, but goes off after a few seconds. These use so much battery power I don't think anyone would want one for camping. 6 Kcal. How does that convert to BTU's?
