If you have a lot of water in your gas, it's probably best to drain the tank. If there's not too much, you can use "Water Remover" (alcohol) from your FLAPS. The alcohol absorbs the water and then it all gets burnt. If I had a big water problem with my gas I would make a point of burning it all as quickly as possible to avoid further damage to the fuel system. One Scirocco I had had a ton of rust in the gas tank. I ended up circulating fuel through the tank using a pump and a filter until most of the rust in the tank was gone. --tabe johnson xtabe@yahoo.com '87 Westy ______________________________________________________________________ Post your free ad now! http://personals.yahoo.ca |
