I've used there product and I know Eric Abercrombie had installed one as well. I had no problems with the install or dealing with Mike. I found the product to be way superior to the surepower unit I pulled out. Surepower who most love, don't work with a subie alternator and the surepower folks didn't have much to say other then sorry. If your interested I'd be happy to send you my old surepower unit. How did you hook it up. It's a bit different then a normal isolator like surepower. JFF

Now it still doesn't work and 6 weeks later winter is drawing nigh. Has anyone actually dealt with these people? I have had about 12 emails and 4 telephone conversation with Mike Hines, yet all he does is blame me and asks incessant questions about my wiring. He insists that in all these years not one person has had a problem installing and my wiring is defective and caused the isolator to burn out. Today he refused to refund my $174 saying he already repaired the unit for free. Are these guys for real? Am I stuck with a 174 dollar boat anchor? This sucks... -- Gnarlie |
