Hi All,

I am throwing in the towel on my rusty 85' weekender and looking for a no rust Vanagon Wolfsberg or Carat manual tranny.

Here is one I'm looking at & my thought is it's about 2K too high in price.

The fellow I've been talking too says that he is running Castrol Syntec 20/50 in it and that it uses a quart in about 1800 miles.

What say the masses?

Thanks, Brian
