My syncro is finally getting a subaru upgrade, so I have a good running 2.1 liter WBX motor for sale. Compression test pretty good - 1/2/3/4 at 130 / 120 / 135 / 125 . Doesn't leak any coolant. Doesn't seem to leak oil except a heavy leak out of the flywheel main seal - easy fix when it's out. It had a noisy lifter when I first started it and a couple times since, but it always goes away completely after a bit of driving, and it hasn't come back now for a while. Mileage on the motor is unknown, the parts van it came from (hit in the sliding door while driving) had 160k on it. It has probably been rebuilt because it has AMC heads, and they looked nice and shiny through the intake ports. Located in northern Pennsylvania, but I could probably deliver it to buyers in New York state and bordering states. Price is $400 including attached accessories - alternator, ps pump, fuel injectors, intake manifold, exhaust headers, not including shipping/delivery costs. Email for more info. -Hans 87 syncro
