Either the center bushing is shot or there is a grove on the outside where the seal rides, or both! The bushing is easily replaceable. The groove requires welding repair. A trans shop can get it rebuilt for you.

Hello All:

My Auto Trans leak debacle turns out to be my Torque Converter Seal. This is the second time it has gone. Anybody suggest why it would happen twice?

Thanks... kevin
