I made a more permament--but still removable--mount with my wave 3.

I teed off the forward tank outlet and came around the front, putting a safety shutoff right there. Then between the straps and the gas tank to the other side, an elbow or two later you can drill a hole in the floor and run the pipe up through it. Then slip on the net and flange it. The heater sits right down on the nut, you use the pattern that comes with it to put self-tappers in the wall of the underseat battery box.

Anyone wanting pictured can have them.
