Andrew On the assumption that said pocket is in fact a hip or "back" pocket, you might want to consider the following.

I once shared a house with a Chiropractor and his wife. At the time I too carried my wallet in my hip pocket. He suggested I do otherwise. His rational being that doing so was harmful and would lead to back problems because every time you sat down (at a desk job/driving job/ to watch TV, eat, etc etc. you are putting a wedge under your pelvis and forcing your spine into an unnatural "S" curve. He said: "I tell all my male patients who do this they can take their wallets out once a month to pass me a payment or they can take their wallet out permanently and forego their monthly deposits in my bank account. "

Good advice if not good business practice. Cheers

Honest.
