So what was your point?   To point out a character flaw
in a fellow member of the vanagon community?

Uh.. okay,  personally I think we're all a bit 'off' given
the amount of time,  $$$$'s and such spend on our
15+ year old vehicles.  :-)


1)  You should post a URL to the article.. not the *ENTIRE ARTICLE*
      to the list!

2)  You left out the obligatory "NVC" in the subject (no vanagon content)
      Just because you put Steve S. in the subject did not relieve you of
      this required obligation to fellow 'listees'

3)   He wrote a letter  or comment to the editor..  so what..?!

4)   For everyone else..?  please trim your posts.. .. I really want to see
the NYT's
       article another 20 times *NOT*!

You guys are going to push me to the brink of taking some of
those photos from Larrys calendar/screensaver project and doing
some creative Photoshop work (ala JibJab)  ;-)

Hey.. could be some great entertainment value if nothing else eh?
(I'll give equal time to both sides.. probably even throw Nader in there
to make things 'fair and balanced' (sic))
