Well, jeez I didn't mean to stir everyone up. Seems this was the same guy eh? After reading some past posts, and lurking here for awhile, it seems to me that both have arguments. Schwenk clearly goes off from time to time. In my very humble opinion, Schwenk should have thought before he sent that note to the reporter. But in naming the "offender" Okrent may have crossed the line and put Schwenk in a pretty damn tough spot. I read his open letter and can sympathize. Maybe we should have a five day cooling off period before we're allowed to buy guns or send pissed off emails, Both can be deadly.
