Vanagons do not buy apples. Vanagons do not buy gasoline. Vanagons do not have an income. Vanagons do not vote. These subjects are PEOPLE subjects, and people wishing to discuss them should take such discussions to the appropriate groups or lists. This list is for Vanagon-related subjects. Certain peripheral subjects are appropriate, while others are not. Politics and religion are, without exception, inappropriate peripheral subjects. Using the fact that you take your Vaagon to the market as a springboard to talk about politics is NOT acceptable. Don't ruin a pleasant community of Vanagon owners with divisive off-topic posts.
