That is the main reason my previous lp heater has been removed from the van
and my diesel heater put in.  all that is inside the cab is the air
exchanger section and the computer for it.  The fuel enters from outside and
the combustion air and exhaust are outside the van as well.  Gaskets seal
the unit from the outside as well.

On the propane side the Propex heater and some larger vented rv systems that
use external air for combustion and exhaust are the ones to use.  Most of
the rv ones are a bit on the large size.
