FWIW, Mr. Mirvis was booted off of the Vanagon list a few years ago by the
moderator at that time, after posting a very unabashed pro-Nazi diatribe to
the list.  He enthusiastically applauded Adolph Hitler, expressing remorse
that Germany is once again infested with "foreigners who shit and piss in
the streets."  It went on from there. I won't dignify it by quoting it
directly, but if you feel compelled to read it, it's in the archives at

After some of the off-topic rants here recently, I hesitated to mention
this, but I think this crosses the line. Especially since Mirvis himself
himself made it an issue by posting it to this list. It is a personal
decision as to whether a person's views, no matter how bigoted they may be,
affect your willingness to interact with that person or patronize his
business. I hope that people will make up their own minds privately without
feeling the need to turn this into another off-topic thread. But as someone
who feels strongly about the issue of bigotry (see
http://busdepot.com/help.jsp#DONATIONS), I felt compelled to briefly mention
this. Jim, I deeply apologize if you feel that this post is inappropriate.
