cutting holes in the vinyl???? gaaack!! thats like the folks that cut their GL carpet up trying to get the middle bench seat out.. (ive seen both..)

anyway, there is a set pin that connects the armrest to the stud..you can see it between the seat and armrest...use a fat nail or center punch with flat tip to drive it out. then use a allen head to tighten the little bolts that hold the stud to the seat..
