Touche, Kurt.

Mostly, I just try not to drive at all--hence I moved from a place (Atlanta) where driving was a necessary evil, to a place (Iowa City) where driving is pretty much entirely an option and more or less a pleasurable one. My happiness level rose dramatically after that move except for the part where I have a hard time justifying even keeping my Vanagon. I persist, however.

My water/sewer bill now exceeds my gasoline bill.
