HI,

I've written a fair amount on how to tune the AFM flap tension, so that the base fuel injection pulse is match to rpm. The basic procedure is to disconnect the O2, and connect a DVOM to the sensor. Drive at or above 3000 rpm, and observe the voltage. .7 volts and above , tighten the spring, mixture is too rich. .3 volts and below loosen the spring, mixture is too lean. There are other components to this tuning , which may be valuable in getting a good basic fuel pulse setup.
