Hi all, After wishing for one for many years, a few weeks ago I purchased a 1985 Vanagon Westy, 4-speed, 138,000 miles, head gaskets done, radiator replaced, decent tires, interior in decent shape, body straight--except (here's the rub) for some rust in the usual spots along the seams, under the water and electrical connections and windshield. I just got an estimate of $3,000 for the rust repair and complete repainting--if I do that I will have around $6,000 into it. What do list members think--is it worth the investment? Please forgive the newby question! cheers, jc
