Hi Spencer, Remove the grease with a wad of paper towels (lots of them) and repack both places with new grease before reassembly. Don't be afraid to get in there and clean everything up well. The cleaner the better. I repacked mine with CV grease, but I have forgot the brand I used. Someone on the list will know what to put back in there. Warren Lail 88 Westy "Billy Bones"
