I used this bubble wrap and foil to insultate my entire floor and heat shield, all doors and over and in front of the engine. The area behind the refrigerator was already insultated with fibreglass. I install a catylitic 5000 Btu heater behind the passenger seat. It sends its foul gasses out a tube through the floor to the outside. I did not insulate the poptop and wonder if this is feasible and what happens when you drop the poptop with this stuff on the canvas. My van is very warm in low 30's weather but wonder how it will do in a really cold Wis winter. We'll see. Good luck and let me know about the bubble wrat on the canvas and if you resolve the adhesion issue. I find this site very helpful. Dan 89 westy camper 4 speed |
