You are wrong! The cylinders are laid out thus. 3 1 4 2
The correct firing order is 1-4-3-2 With the cap off you can see a small notch or line on the top edge of the metal rim of the distributor. That notch is where the rotor points to indicate plug wire number 1. The other wires then go 4-3-2, clockwise. The result is that the wires on the 1-2 side cross. Mark
