Hi Warren, First, let me say I always look forward to your posts. They're full of wit and hold my interest. Having been a sailor for 22 years, I appreciate the nautical flair. I guess I'm just going to cut the switched power wire (I currently have the constant power and switched power wired together and connected to the aux battery) and run it through a switch in the sleeping area. That way I can still turn it on and off at the radio ... as long as the "new" switch is in the on position. With the radio on at the dash ... I'll be able to turn it off and on using the "new" switch (switched power). Mike
