this is also (the gap) a source of drag. for the fuel-economy tests, some of the magazines used duct tape over the door, hood, and truck gaps, and even over the edges of the headlights. any little gap that could cause noise also causes drag. so they say. anyway, they did one test with a honda crx (1987 model, as i dimly recall) and sealed the driver and passenger inside, then drove from los angeles to las vegas on 10.000 gallons of gas. almost made it, too. got 690 miles off that ten gallons. ran dry just shy of vegas. :)

point? dunno ... seal the front doors and only enter/exit by the sliding door?? :)
