The one I got is better than one being sold by another US parts supplier. A salvage yard has a couple of theirs and the difference was obvious immediately. The wheels and bearings. My cheaper harbor freight had all metal. His which wasn¹t holding up had plastic hub pieces. The same can be said of VW parts being sold. It isnt where they are being made but to whose quality standards they are being made. If you had been following the trade talks issues between VW and their unions right now you would see that VW has outsourced about 30 percent of their supplied parts. They are getting ready to export some of their Chinese production to the German lines because they are finally making surplus parts in China. VW is one of the top vehicle builders in the new China.
