I bought a Westy with a switch installed by the PO. It works great. I run on A, camp on B, then start on A and then charge on A+B. The big red wire still goes only to A, so it won't charge only B, but that's fine. It switches everything, so there's no messing with wiring changes besides the wires to the switch. It is installed behind the driver's seat on the front of the sink cabinet. I can reach around while driving and switch it--even to OFF if I want! ;-)

But the remembering IS the weak point. I have trained myself to deal with the sink drain cap and the switch together when I set up or break camp.
