Subject: Another weird email

Just after sending my last posting to the list, I got a junk email from UWannaDeaL2 <uwannadeal2@usa.net>. It contained the text of the posting I¹d just sent, and the header was modified to ³Re: Your message to vanagon-request=--MY OOOPS Tnx². Has anyone else posting to the list received emails like this? What does this mean? It feels to me like my email to the list has been intercepted by someone. I¹ll be curious to see if this happens again when I send this one. But also a bit alarmed that something I regarded as a semi-private conversation is so visible to unknown people. Yes, I know we should never assume anything we transmit via the internet is secure, but who in heaven¹s name would be interested in ³tapping² vanagon postings????
