Just something to think about. Most reputable transmission businesses give
$600. to $800. core for your tranny when they send you a rebuild. The
rebuild can be anywhere from about $1K to $1800. depending on what your
buying.
What are you going to get for that $699?
Hope this doesn't sound too negative but having just gone through this
situation myself last spring, I see red flags.

Hey all , I am in need of a transmission for my 91 carat 4sp`.Mine is
howling terribly and has started to jump out of first gear. I'm afraid it
may be past its rebuildable state.  If anyone has a good used trans  let me
know.; Also has anyone on the list had any experience with the transmissions
offed currently on ebay  by west coast core for $699?
