Because somebody attempted to SPAM the vanagon list by using a certain combination of addresses in the "From" and "Reply-to" fields.

Sure, this message is an annoyance, but less so than an offer to refinance a mortgage, increase your virility or help you find "companionship".

Just ignore and use the delete key.
