Had to be an old article or they didnΉt give the dates of the event.  VW was
the number one auto producer IN CHINA for three years straight.  It is their
highest profit market and their second largest. GM is right behind them now
and may even pass them this year.  VW has announced that it still cant meet
demand in the country but some individual parts are now reaching sufficient
manufacturing levels to begin exporting.  DonΉt know which parts but you
will soon be seeing china next to the vw logo.  Believe the vehicle in china
is based on the jetta.


Also the new boss at VW is shifting more production out of germany to
mexico.  The last of the jetta family production in germany.
