Subject: Help with small coolant leak
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Hi folks,

I seem to have a small coolant leak that i am positive is coming from the low side of hose #11 on this chart (part # N 901 287 03):

http://www.vanagain.com/19lchc.htm

this tiny hose is new, and the clamp is on there really tight. feeling around down on the underside of the hard metal pipe on the driver's side of this connection, there seems to be a small, roundish tab of metal built on to the pipe. It is the only thing that I would guess that may be keeping the hose from making a tight seal.

Anyone else experience this leak before? If I don't drain the whole system, and pull the hose off all the way to replace or reseat it, will I get dumped with a ton of coolant or just a little?

If you could, please pmail any suggestions or comments as I am set to "no-mail" right now.

Thanks!
