Go to Wallyworld or flaps and get basic "window mount" cup holders.
I think they cost around $2.00 for a pair.  Not the most elegant cup
holders, but they will hold a wide variety of containers.

Remove the cover in front of the heater buy pulling straight back.


Drill a hole (or two if you have 2 cup holders) and mount the
cupholders with bolts.  You'll need to cut the top off of the
cupholder if it was designed to go in the window crack.  Make sure
you have enough room to move shifter and your knees.
