Not under it but it does fit in the hole.  I never swivel the drivers seat
anyway so loss of swivel is no loss.  However I did pin the seat so that it
wont swivel unless the pin is pulled.  Removed the metal cover normally over
the hole but the battery hides out nicely under the carpet.
