I worked christmas rush for the post office package center that handled montana, wyoming, colorado, newmexico, kansas. My primary area was sorting out the international into LA Sanfran mex and chicago. All chicago was canada. In a 10 to 12 hour shift I could pack out almost 20 bins. And this was all priority, no regular parcel post. I was told what I did alone would take 4 to 6 people to process on the customs inspection side in canada.

The day shift person did about the same amount. That was one semi fully loaded heading for chicago or the air port each day just from our center. There were five more centers shipping as well and 3 of those are in much higher population density areas. I saw real quick why the post office says get international stuff out before US thanks giving day if you want it there by christmas. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• jimt Planned insanity is best.
